Embarking on a Bordeaux Wine Experience in the heart of Bordeaux is a journey through some of the city's most exceptional wine bars. Here are our top three favorites :
1. Le Sobre Chartrons: Quality & Experience
Le Sobre Chartrons is a one-of-a-kind wine cellar and bar—a merchant and a wine bar combined. This means incredibly good pricing on all wines, from simple Bordeaux to Grand Cru Classé selections such as Cheval Blanc and Château Ausone. The bar features 24 wines by the glass, served via Enomatic dispensers, allowing you to choose between 30ml, 60ml, or 120ml pours—so you can explore all the wine regions of France without committing to a full glass of each. The knowledgeable staff offers personalized recommendations to enhance your Bordeaux Wine Experience.
Le Sobre Chartrons also serves delicious cuisine, with a special focus on gastronomic cheese, perfectly complementing its impressive wine list. For private gatherings, a back room is available for professionals and individuals (upon request for a quote).
We are also happy to announce that, starting February 17, we will be offering an on-request private "Super Grand Cru Classé Experience"—an exclusive wine tasting session in collaboration with Le Sobre Chartrons and Bordeaux Wine Pilgrim. This 90-minute journey features prestigious selections like Château d'Yquem, offering an unparalleled deep dive into Bordeaux’s wine heritage in an educational and friendly atmosphere.

Aux Quatre Coins du Vin offers a vast selection of wines, including fine wines by the glass as well as small producers from across France and around the world. Their unique concept allows guests to choose from three different serving sizes: tasting size (3cl), half a glass (6cl), or a full glass (12cl).
Guests can either use a self-serve card to choose from 32 wines available in the machine or ask a server to recommend wines based on personal tastes. Alternatively, they can select from the extensive wine list featuring 800 references from all over France and the world. The venue offers delicious plates with cold meats, cheeses, vegetables, or foie gras, perfectly paired with the right wines. One of the gastronomic highlights includes a small plate of charcuterie and cheese, paired with a glass of wine for just €13.
